What is a Depedent Care FSA ("DCFSA")?
An DCFSA is an opt-in employee benefit sponsored by your company. They're helping you save money on your essential expenses!
What can I use an DCFSA on?
Common eligible expenses include:
Care for your child who is age 12 or under:
Preschool, nursery, and daycare
Before and after school programs
Nanny and au pair services
Day summer camps
Transportation provided by licensed care providers
Care for your child age 13 or over, your spouse, or a relative who is physically and/or mentally incapable of basic self-care and lives in your home
How much should I elect?
For each calendar year, estimate the amount you spend on child care and adult care. The maximum election during the 2020 calendar year is $5,000.
What happens to unused funds at the end of the year?
Unused funds at the end of the year unfortunately will expire.
How do I use my DCFSA?
Pay for eligible expenses with your Benepass card (virtual + physical)
Submit a reimbursement claim through the Benepass mobile app
